What does Tropicalia smell like?
Chemically ethyl 5-norbornene-2-carboxylate. Bulkaroma describes it as a very impactful fruity tropical exotic note giving richness and opulence to any white flower accord, with a touch of green minty leaves, and lists it as ethereal, fruity, sweet, tropical, mango and guava. It is the opulence lever for mango, jackfruit, melon and guava accords, and its real value is under white florals, where it reads as the ripe pulpy sweetness a tuberose or frangipani has in the living flower. Impactful enough to shout, so it is dosed against the accord rather than poured into it.
What else is Tropicalia called?
