A green, natural tomato leaf note. Used as a top note ingredient it imparts powerful fresh-natural effects and gives green volume to a whole perfume, which is its real job in a formula: it opens up and enlarges a green accord rather than merely tinting it. It performs well in hair care and in soap, and offers excellent malodour coverage on that base. Part of the Leaf Givco family alongside Birch Leaf and Green Ivy, and not to be confused with the natural tomato leaf extract or with single molecules such as 2-isobutylthiazole.
