Perfumer's Apprentice calls it a "beautiful accord that captures the essence of a fresh, green tomato leaf". Note that it is the leaf and not the fruit: this is the sharp, slightly bitter green that comes off the vine when you brush it, not a red tomato. That makes it a green top rather than a fruity one, and it is a strong one, so it wants a light hand. Use it where a formula needs a living, just-crushed stem impression, and read it as a compounded all-natural accord, not as a single-source leaf extract, which is why it carries no CAS of its own.
