What does Guavanate smell like?
Bedoukian gives it a tropical, ripe, juicy, sweet green, fruity scent. The supplier listing expands this to sweet, juicy tropical fruit notes with an aromatic, slightly woody impression and a creamy coconut dry-down, and The Good Scents Company types it fruity with an exotic, musty, characteristic pink-guava character. It is a fruit-realism material rather than a candy one: at traces up to about 2% it puts the ripe, faintly overripe guava and mango facet into fruity and floral accords and leaves a creamy tail behind the fruit.
What else is Guavanate called?
Methyl (Z)-5-octenoate · Methyl cis-5-octenoate · BRI 493
