What does Mamey Givco 200 smell like?

Givaudan's reading of the mamey, Mammea americana, a fruit of the Caribbean and northern South America. The Givco list describes it as powerful and long-lasting, providing a warm, fruity volume to chypre, osmanthus and spicy accords, and adding richness to jasmine and tuberose. It is a body note rather than a bright fruit top: it fills a formula out from underneath instead of flashing off, which is why it is reached for when a chypre or a white floral smells correct but thin.
