What does Isoraldeine 95 smell like?
The 95 percent gamma-methyl ionone grade: soft, powdery violet with a velvety orris depth and a creamy, almost cosmetic quality. Where the 70 is dry, woody and leathery, the 95 is all finesse, and the higher purity is what buys the smoothness. About 184 hours on a smelling strip. It builds violet, iris and orris accords and adds powdery radiance and diffusion to almost any composition, bridging floral top notes into woody-amber bases; it is the ionone behind the Grojsman accord that underpins Tresor and much of what followed. Sold and priced as a separate article from the 70, and it does a different job.

Restricted under IFRA.
This material carries a restriction. PerfuMate checks your formula against the 51st Amendment
as you build, including the same molecule arriving from several naturals at once.
What that covers, and what it does not.

Every
regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can
supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the
540 materials carrying no CAS number the 248 without a
constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than
"nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app
labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row:
no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point.
