It is a compounded house base carrying a mixture CAS rather than a single molecule, currently supplied as version 109955 GRF17 after the earlier version was discontinued in 2023. In a formula it is a dry sawn-timber woody-amber that reads lighter and crisper than a sandalwood or oud base, useful as the woody spine of a masculine or a modern fougere where a creamy wood would sit too heavy.
