What does Limbwood Base smell like?

An extremely powerful woody and ambery note with a slightly animal undertone, developing a dry woody direction toward patchouli. A house speciality base described as a well balanced association of ingredients, some of them captives, built by Firmenich perfumers with their natural ingredients centre of expertise as a technical route to natural reconstitutions. In a formula it is a drydown engine: it supplies dry woody-amber volume and a faint animalic warmth underneath, so it anchors a woody accord and lends a patchouli-like earthiness without the camphoraceous top of patchouli oil itself. Its power means it is easy to overdose into flatness.

Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 540 materials carrying no CAS number the 248 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
