What does Scentaurus PolyDoux smell like?
A Givaudan captive fragrance precursor launched 19 February 2026. Givaudan's release describes it as releasing fruity raspberry and soft powdery vanilla notes, bringing brightness and softness. The molecule is near-silent on its own and oxygen-activated: the fragrant molecules are diffused gradually when triggered by natural factors like the oxygen or humidity of the air, extending the scent notes over days. It is biodegradable per OECD guidelines, developed on the FiveCarbon Path with a Safe-by-Design approach, and aimed at shampoos, fabric conditioners and laundry detergents, in particular the synthetics of the athleisure market. In a formula it is a longevity tool rather than a top note: weigh it for what appears on day two, not for what the blotter does in the first hour.

Every
regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can
supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the
540 materials carrying no CAS number the 248 without a
constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than
"nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app
labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row:
no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point.
