Bedoukian lists this separately from Cerezoate on the same CAS, as a fruity-tropical, ethereal character with subtle notes of pear and pineapple; the supplier listing adds juicy pineapple, red fruit and blueberry, a use level of traces to 1%, and tenacity of more than an hour on the blotter. It is the wider-isomer grade of ethyl 2-methyl-3-pentenoate, specified at about 83% sum of isomers against Cerezoate's high-cis cut, and it reads correspondingly less cherry and more pear and pineapple. Use it where a fruity or green accord wants ethereal tropical juiciness at the top.
