What does Cerezoate smell like?
Bedoukian describes a fruity, ethereal, juicy note with natural black cherry nuances, and its own accord literature reads it as a melange of juicy pineapple, apple, blueberry and above all black cherry. The Good Scents Company carries the same CAS as cherry pentenoate, fruity and medium strength, reading at 10% in DPG as fruity green cherry with dusty melon rind, berry, oily weedy and tropical pineapple facets, with tenacity greater than one hour at 100%. In a formula it is the ethereal juicy lift at the top of a fruit accord: it makes cherry, berry and pineapple read as fresh-cut rather than jammy, and it leaves quickly, so it is a top effect and not body. Bedoukian specifies this grade as the high-cis cut of ethyl 2-methyl-3-pentenoate.
