What does Oud Synthetic 010760E smell like?

Firmenich's reconstitution of agarwood oil, described as woody and balsamic, and by suppliers as intensely woody, animalic and reminiscent of vetiver with sweet balsamic undertones. It is a thick sticky liquid that only pours when warm and is close to impossible to draw into a pipette, which is why it is commonly bought or made up as a 50 percent or 10 percent dilution. Very tenacious, and reported to outlast the Givaudan Black Agar equivalent. In a formula it is the whole oud accord in one bottle: a base-note spine for oriental and woody compositions where natural agarwood oil is out of reach on cost.
