What does Jasmolactone Delta smell like?

The house sheet calls it a very rich and natural floral lactone, with a floral, jasmine petal-like character and a delicate fruitiness reminiscent of peach, apricot and coconut milk, and files it under FLORAL, FRUITY. In use it has a complementary effect with jasmine notes and is effective at relatively low concentrations, the sheet naming 0.1 to 1% and giving fine fragrance dosage in the hundredths to a couple of tenths of a percent, so a little goes a long way; it is a heart note and it lasts two weeks on a smelling strip, which is unusually tenacious for something that reads as a soft creamy floral. Identity warning worth carrying on the row: this is the 3-pentenyl lactone, FEMA 4441, and it is a different molecule from Jasmine Lactone, the 2-pentenyl one at CAS 25524-95-2 with FEMA 3745 and about three days on a strip. The name delta-Jasmolactone belongs to this row and must not be left as a synonym on the Jasmine Lactone row, or an import will silently collapse the two.

Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 558 materials carrying no CAS number the 257 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
