What does Lactojasmone smell like?
Symrise's datasheet gives floral, jasmine, lactonic, tuberose, yellow plum; The Good Scents Company reads it as fresh, waxy, coconut, jasmin, spicy and natural, with sweet, lactonic, creamy, coconut, fatty, powdery and coumarin nuances. In a formula it gives opulent white flowers such as jasmine and narcissus a creamy, rich body with a faint animalic edge, puts a milky accent into sandalwood, and underlines the fruit in osmanthus and the tropical side of frangipani, at roughly 0.05 to 3 percent. Very tenacious for a heart material, around 192 hours on the blotter at full strength.
