What does Prunella smell like?
The industry standard dried plum base from Firmenich, printed under FRUITY in the house catalogue as code 975617. It presents a powerful, complex note of ripe plums with dried fruit sweetness, a smooth velvety texture and subtle coconut nuances. In a formula it adds velvet fruit texture to fine fragrance and builds rich gourmand and oriental accords; small amounts contribute a gentle sweetness while overdoses work very well in a modern gourmand context. It blends well with the rose ketones and other fruit bases and makes particularly beautiful accords with patchouli. It has withstood the test of time, featuring in classics such as the original Dior Poison and Chanel Egoiste, and holds more than a day on a blotter.
What is Prunella made of?
What the supplier DECLARES, not the whole formula. A base is a blend somebody else made: an IFRA conformity certificate and an allergen declaration list the restricted and declarable substances only, so these shares add up to a few percent and the remainder stays with the house. PerfuMate counts exactly what is listed here and claims nothing about the rest.
