What does Delphol HC smell like?

Floral and jasmine, with a slight cis-jasmone note; the floral character is reminiscent of magnolia and tea, with slightly fruity undertones, and a subtle fruity peach aspect is also reported. Odour type is floral and the strength is medium, which is why it is recommended for evaluation at a 10% solution or less rather than neat. It behaves as a building block rather than a signature: it enriches the white floral families and holds up well in fruit-led compositions, and it is specifically useful for building magnolia and jasmine accords where the cis-jasmone facet reads as the living flower rather than the absolute. Stability is described as excellent, and it lasts about 48 hours on a strip at full strength, so it sits squarely in the heart. Note it is the alcohol, not the ketone: do not confuse it with Delphone, 2-pentylcyclopentanone, which is a different material.
