What does Bouvardia DL smell like?
A de Laire floral bouquet constructed around the ionones and methyl ionones: an exceptionally rich floral blending rose, jasmine and orange flower over a powdery violet-iris core, the base Jacques Guerlain used in Apres l'Ondee. Modern stock is described with a bright, almost citrusy lift on the opening, which makes it a bergamot enhancer as much as a floral heart. In a formula it is a ready-made floral middle: it rounds and powders a bouquet in a way a raw ionone on its own cannot, and it bridges a citrus top into a white-floral heart without a seam.
