What does Hydrocitronitrile smell like?

Symrise classify it citrus, floral and waxy; TGSC files it under the floral odour type and describes it as citrus-like, reminiscent of lemon peel with waxy and metallic nitrile-like shades, with muguet, lily and sweet facets behind. In a formula it is the stable way to hold a lemon-peel brightness inside a muguet or white-floral heart, and its nitrile backbone keeps it working in body lotion, shampoo, soap and cleaning bases where a citrus aldehyde would not survive. It is the saturated relative of citronitrile, a colourless to pale yellow liquid boiling above three hundred degrees, so despite the citrus reading it behaves as a heart material rather than a top note.
