Inspired by an exclusive Givaudan aromachemical and by the perfume that surrounds blooming linden trees in early summer. Rich, sweet and honeysuckle-like, with green and fresh aspects and clear lily, muguet, freesia and petal nuances, plus a soft tropical edge. Suppliers place it as a middle note in the light floral family and give it up to ten percent, noting that four percent in a violet accord adds a pleasant floral volume. It is used as a central note in a formula but is also very effective in the top notes and in the dry down, so it carries linden across the whole wear rather than only at one stage.
