What does Florantone T smell like?
Takasago's own product page classifies it as floral, orange flower and musk, and supplier listings describe an orange blossom or neroli aroma with a grape and musk undertone. The house presents it as a novel methyl anthranilate note that is extremely stable and resistant to discolouration, and states it can be used to replace methyl anthranilate outright. That is exactly what it does in a formula: it gives the grapey orange-flower effect of an anthranilate but holds up where anthranilates yellow and turn, with good stability reported from acidic softeners and antiperspirants right through soap and powder detergent, and only fair performance in bleach. Takasago places typical use levels below 5%.

Every
regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can
supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the
558 materials carrying no CAS number the 257 without a
constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than
"nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app
labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row:
no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point.
