What does Orinox smell like?

PFW's odour description, as carried by Perfumer's Apprentice, is dry, woody, labdanum, rose, musk, orange flower, and the supplier files it in the wood family. The reading is a dry woody-labdanum core with a rose inflection, sitting over a musky orange-flower softness. In a formula it behaves as a dry ambery-woody base note that lends labdanum warmth without the sticky resinous weight of a labdanum absolute, and its musk and orange-flower side lets it sit under florals and smooth a rose or neroli accord from below. The supplier recommends assessing it in a 10 percent solution or less, so it is not a material to smell neat on a blotter.

Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 540 materials carrying no CAS number the 248 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
