What does Strawberry Essence (Natural) smell like?
Perfumer's Apprentice describes it as a "naturalistic accord" that "embodies the ripe and fresh qualities of a fresh summer strawberry". Both halves are stated on purpose: ripe carries the sweet fruit body, fresh keeps a bright top on it, and together they read as the whole fruit rather than the confectionery version. Being an all-natural compounded base, it is a single line in a formula that would otherwise take several materials to assemble. Sits well in the heart of a fruity floral, and pairs naturally with the raspberry from the same range when a mixed-berry impression is wanted.
