What does Rosessence 80 smell like?

Robertet describes it as floral, very fresh and slightly peppered/spicy, and pitches it as a good alternative to a rose oil. The pepper is the tell: this is the bright, dewy, slightly biting side of the living rose rather than the jammy, honeyed weight of an absolute, so it reads as rose oil in the top and heart. In a formula it is the rose itself at a fraction of the cost of the natural, and its freshness lifts heavier floral or chypre structures instead of thickening them. Flash point 68 C. Applicable for a perfumery use only.
