What does Mandarinal smell like?

A powerful, fresh aldehydic mandarin, softer and waxier than natural mandarin oil, carrying elegant floral-neroli facets and a pillowy, waxy texture without the harsh bite of a raw citrus oil. Firmenich prints it under CITRUS in the bases section of the house catalogue as code 184002 KD. In a formula it is a high-performance citrus booster: it gives a cologne or a fresh top the sparkle of an aldehydic mandarin but holds far better than the essential oil, and the supplier works it at a few percent of a cologne concentrate.

What is Mandarinal made of?

What the supplier DECLARES, not the whole formula. A base is a blend somebody else made: an IFRA conformity certificate and an allergen declaration list the restricted and declarable substances only, so these shares add up to a few percent and the remainder stays with the house. PerfuMate counts exactly what is listed here and claims nothing about the rest.

Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 520 materials carrying no CAS number the 230 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
