The Good Scents Company gives it as aldehydic, waxy, clean laundered cloth, ozone, green mandarin, citrus and metallic, and rates its odour strength high, recommending it be smelled at 1 percent or less. dsm-firmenich call it an extremely powerful and clean aldehydic note with ozonic, mandarin and floral undertones, one of the strongest aldehydics they sell, with about three days of tenacity on a smelling strip. In a formula it is the modern laundry-and-mandarin aldehyde: a trace lifts a floral or a fougere out of the bottle and puts a scrubbed, airy sheen over the top, and it is loud enough that a careless drop will flatten everything under it.
