What does Cantalal smell like?

Bedoukian describes a powerful watermelon note with a slight citrus nuance. Their captive BRI 359 is the cis C8 aldehyde, and it gives the cool, wet, green-rind side of melon rather than the sugary flesh, which is what makes it read as fresh fruit and not as candy. In a formula it is the melon top itself: a trace builds watermelon, cucumber and cantaloupe accords, sharpens an aquatic opening with something edible, and adds a green bite over florals. The house works it at a fraction of a percent in the concentrate, so it is a drop-count material; overdosed it turns fatty and green-metallic and takes the whole top with it.

Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 558 materials carrying no CAS number the 257 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
