What does Benzoin Oliffac 999 smell like?

FAO's benzoin trade study records it as an excellent economical substitute for benzoin resinoid products, similar to them in odour performance, with a characteristic balsamic, vanilla, resinous complex, used at up to 5%. Unlike the 63 it is built on proprietary synthetics rather than around natural benzoin resin, so it is the cost-driven choice for the same warm, sweet, balsamic fixative role in ambers, orientals and vanillas, and its natural-content claim differs accordingly. It is a compounded base and carries no single CAS.

Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 558 materials carrying no CAS number the 257 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
