Perfumer's Supply House describes it as a pleasant citrus accord that evokes freshly squeezed tangerine peel, blended with floral, marine notes that give it an unusual sparkling zest, with a fruity undertone reinforcing its natural character. It is remarkably diffusive and long-lasting, and holds up in functional bases where a real citrus oil would collapse. In a formula it works as a top and middle note that gives freshness and volume to citrus, floral and green accords, so it is the lift material rather than the citrus body: it buys sparkle and staying power at the top without the fading and the colour problems of an expressed tangerine oil.
