What does Sandalwood Givco 203 smell like?
A synthetic sandalwood oil that reproduces the extremely fine, powerful, rich and sweet sandalwood odour. It is a complex mixture of captive and patented aroma chemicals together with essential oils, but contains no sandalwood oil at all. It can replace the original oil in equivalent proportions, with an exceptional cost/performance ratio and very good substantivity, so in practice it is the sandalwood body of a formula rather than a topping-up material; the house also notes that adding it at around a tenth of the total volume of other sandalwood ingredients makes them read more natural.
