What does Petiole smell like?

Givaudan calls it green and powerful, with floral shades of hyacinth and rose and a hint of watercress, giving a natural green freshness to top notes. It is phenethyl isopropyl ether, and the useful thing about it is that the green reads as a living stem rather than the sharp cut-grass of a leaf aldehyde, so it opens a floral without the metallic bite. It lasts about a day on the blotter, which places it firmly in the top, and it is used up to 3 percent; it holds up well across soap, shampoo, fabric conditioner and antiperspirant bases where softer green naturals would simply disappear.

Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 558 materials carrying no CAS number the 257 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
