The Good Scents Company files it as a green odour of high strength, to be smelled at 10 percent solution or less, and gives the description violet, green, cucumber at 10 percent in DPG; the supplier description reads green, cucumber melon, violet, rose-fatty, with an ionone-like drydown. It is a colourless to pale yellow clear liquid, a compounded blend rather than a single molecule, built mainly on Violiff with Neofolione, Mysore Acetate, Liffarome and a trace of 1-octen-3-ol, and Scentspiracy lists it as IFF's violet-leaf facsimile. In a formula it is the violet-leaf green top written to stand in for methyl octine carbonate, giving the crushed-leaf, cucumber-melon bite over florals and chypres while drying down ionone-soft rather than vanishing.
