Takasago's house description for the Orbitone T line is woody, ambergris, floral and violet, an ingredient that gives sophisticated body and velvety richness. Fraterworks describes the 2026 Neo reprocess as an elegant, velvety woody-amber with sophisticated balsamic and creamy facets and subtle violet floral undertones, reading more balsamic and creamy than standard Iso E Super with greater transparency and a sense of space. In a formula it is a volumiser rather than a statement: dosed at several percent it lifts and rounds everything around it, blurs the seams between fresh-fruity, floral and woody-amber accords, and lays a soft ambergris, vetiver and patchouli shadow underneath. The higher gamma-isomer content of the Neo grade buys slightly more diffusion than the original it replaces.
