Absolute recovered by solvent-washing the distillation waters left over from neroli production, so it carries the water-soluble half of the flower: honeyed and indolic over a dry musty-herbal petitgrain underside the concrete-derived absolute does not show. Used in small amounts to give a neroli or orange-flower accord the green transparency of the living flower.
