What does Oakmoss Givco 214 smell like?
A well balanced, sophisticated synthetic oakmoss reconstitution: oakmoss with woody notes, a complex mixture containing patented Givaudan items that accurately reproduces the effect of natural oakmoss. Physically an amber to straw yellow liquid that may solidify and can be gently warmed back to liquid. Its whole reason for existing is regulatory: unlike the natural absolute it is not subject to IFRA restriction, and Givaudan states it can be used in the same applications and at the same level as the natural extract. That makes it the working chypre floor in a modern formula, where the extract can no longer carry the load.
