What does Magnolia Heart smell like?

Perfumer's Apprentice lists the odour as salicylate, green, rosey, freesia note. It is a fractional distillation of Michelia alba, taken from the leaves rather than the flower, with the floral fractions blended back together after fractionation. That leaf origin is why it reads green and freesia-like rather than creamy: it is not the soft citrus-green of a whole magnolia flower oil but a brighter, more salicylate-driven, almost transparent floral. In a formula it behaves like a natural freesia or muguet modifier, lifting a rose or a white floral heart and adding a sunlit salicylate warmth without the fatty weight a flower absolute would bring.

Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 558 materials carrying no CAS number the 257 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
