What does Jasmoneige smell like?

Zeon's own catalogue describes a powerful floral-herbaceous, sweet odour like jasmin absolute, giving the soft and elegant smell of the jasmin flower. The Good Scents Company records it as jasmin flower, oily, green, petal-soft and greasy at medium odour strength, which is the honest reading: it is the waxy, slightly fatty petal facet of a real jasmine rather than a clean floral chemical. Zeon notes that a small addition creates a long-lasting exciting effect, and it holds around 256 hours on a blotter neat. In a formula it is the floraliser for jasmine, white floral and fruity-floral accords, needed at considerably lower weight than hedione for the same lift. Note that this is methyl jasmonate, not the methyl epi-jasmonate sold by the same house as Zeppin.

Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 540 materials carrying no CAS number the 248 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
