Catalog › Fruity › Isodamascon
Symrise gives the odour as fruity, floral, plum, rose and tobacco; The Good Scents Company records the same profile at 10 percent in dipropylene glycol and rates the odour strength high. In a formula it blends well with rose ketones, lends power and body to floral-fruity creations, and implements tobacco-like aspects in oriental compositions. The published odour threshold in air is 0.0008 ug/l, so it behaves like the rose ketone it is: dosed low, and dominant if it is not. Symrise recommends 0.1 to 2 percent.

Restricted under IFRA. This material carries a restriction. PerfuMate checks your formula against the 51st Amendment as you build, including the same molecule arriving from several naturals at once. What that covers, and what it does not.
Computed, not collected from forums. A pair covers together what one cannot. The number is the engine's match, not a promise.
Ranked by shared olfactive sub-categories, not alphabetically.
Counted from the file the app ships, the moment this page was built.
Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 558 materials carrying no CAS number the 257 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
