What does Cuir HF smell like?
Synarome's own page: created by Hubert Fraysse in 1926, this specialty starts with a fresh citrus top fused with sophisticated leather, and the floral and luminous heart gathers refined orris and violet notes with a spicy touch, rounded off by precious woods and musky tones. Suppliers give the same reading as a fresh bergamot top over an orris-violet spicy heart on precious woods and musk. It belongs to the range Synarome built to reproduce the birch-bark-tanned Spanish leathers, but it is the warm floral end of that range rather than the tarry one: perfumers compare it to Suederal and find it smoother, more floral and softer in the base. The house gives it a week of tenacity on the blotter, suggests low single-digit percentages, and recommends it with rose, neroli, chypre, tobacco and oud. Buyers describe it as extremely powerful and diffusive, so it is easy to overdose.
