What does Chocovan TEC smell like?

A Givaudan speciality supplied in triethyl citrate. Perfumer's Apprentice describe it as cocoa, vanilla and powdery: it brings a rich cocoa note together with a warm vanillic background, with the powdery effect of chocolate just as when a tin of drinking-cocoa powder is opened. It is built on Givaudan captives, Levistamel, Isobutavan and Ultravanil, where Isobutavan carries a sweet creamy vanillic character reminiscent of white chocolate and cream soda with a soft apricot feeling and Ultravanil boosts it with a very powerful vanilla-absolute note. In a formula it is the shortcut to a chocolate accord and a warm, slightly dusty sweet fond under gourmand, oriental and tobacco compositions, sitting in the base and dragging the drydown sweeter.

Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 540 materials carrying no CAS number the 248 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
