What does Aprifloren smell like?
Symrise gives the odour as fruity, floral, lactonic, green and peach: a creamy peach-apricot lactone rather than a sharp fruit note, with a green edge that keeps it from going jammy. In a formula it gives naturalness, imparts soft and caring fruity aspects, adds richness and body to white flower concepts, and underlines typical orange characteristics. A C11 lactone boiling at 292.7 C with a published odour threshold in air of 0.0316 ug/l, so it sits low and lends body rather than lift. Symrise recommends a use level of 1 to 5 percent.
What else is Aprifloren called?
