What does Ambrox DL smell like?
The house marketing sheet gives the olfactive description as an elegant amber note with a rich woody character, and files the product under Ambery. On perfumery usage it states that the ingredient provides warmth, richness and elegance to all areas of perfumery from sheer florals to modern orientals, and that due to its power the best effects can be achieved at lower dosages, although higher levels are often used to provide performance and substantivity. It is a solid, behaves as a heart and base note, and lasts a month on a smelling strip. Fine fragrance dosage runs 0.5% to 3%, with much lower ranges across shampoo, soap, detergent and candle.

Every
regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can
supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the
558 materials carrying no CAS number the 257 without a
constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than
"nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app
labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row:
no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point.
