What does Seaweed absolute smell like?
Dark, powerful natural extract of Fucus vesiculosus: iodine-rich seashore, salty-marine and green-algae notes drying to leathery, tobacco- and hay-like depths. The key natural for realistic ocean and rockpool effects; use in small amounts as it easily dominates and discolors. Payan Bertrand's Fucus absolute has no restriction in IFRA category 4 (an earlier amendment had it at 0.1%), and its allergen declaration finds only coumarin at 0.007% and limonene at 0.004% at or above the quantification limit; benzyl alcohol, estragole, benzaldehyde and a trace of toluene sit below it.
