What does Pretty Oud smell like?
A sensual woody profile beaming with rich smoky facets, with refined leathery undertones and an elegant ambery warmth. Firmenich present it as a feminine reading of oud: the smoke and the leather are there but the animalic side is not, so it stays clean and wearable where the Oud Assafi specialties go barnyard. Supplied at 20 percent in DPG. It behaves as a high-dose base rather than a trace material: under one percent it adds a smoky whisper behind cedar, sandalwood or patchouli, and at a few percent the leather comes forward and the whole composition gains body and fixation.
