What does Mysoral smell like?
A synthetic rendition of Mysore sandalwood oil built around its spicy and resinous side rather than its softest creamy one. Supplier listings give the odour as sandalwood, Mysore, woody, milky, and describe it as a relatively strong sandalwood note with spicy undertones that has also been read as resinous. In a formula it works as a sandalwood body rather than a top-dressing: it gives a woody base weight with a milky edge and enough spice-resin lift that it reads as oil rather than as a single santalol-type molecule, so it can carry a sandalwood accord on its own or thicken a thin natural sandalwood.
