What does Methyl Tuberate Pure smell like?
Givaudan places it in the floral family with a floral / tuberose / lactonic note, and describes its characteristic effect as imparting a natural touch of white flower, such as tuberose and gardenia. What it does in a formula is give a white floral its creamy, slightly waxy skin instead of a flat indolic one, and the house notes it can be used effectively in combination with fruity lactones to provide lift.
