What does Koolada MMS Synthetic smell like?
The Good Scents Company records monomenthyl succinate as odorless at full strength, with an odour strength of none; what registers is a slight coolness on the strip and a lingering coolness with good mouthfeel on the palate. It is a sensate, not an odorant, and adds nothing to the pyramid. Its value in a formula is timing: the patent literature describes menthyl succinate being paired with menthyl lactate or with WS-3 precisely because their release rates differ, giving a fast cooling onset and a long-lasting cooling tail in the same product, so MMS is the slow, persistent partner rather than the immediate hit that menthol provides. This is the synthetic grade, which is how the material is made commercially.

Every
regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can
supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the
540 materials carrying no CAS number the 248 without a
constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than
"nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app
labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row:
no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point.
