What does Koolada 12 Synthetic smell like?

This is not really an odour material and should not be shelved as one. Suppliers describe WS-12 as an odourless white crystalline solid melting around 178 C, and The Good Scents Company file it under the odour type "cooling" with no odour description at all, listing the taste as simply "cooling" and marking the entry information-only, not used for fragrance or flavour. What it does is physiological rather than olfactory: it is a TRPM8 agonist rated at roughly three and a half times the cooling power of menthol and holding that effect for something like half an hour, so you get the cold with none of the mint. Advanced Biotech sell it in the Koolada range for a refreshing sensation on the skin or in the mouth, going beyond what standard mint gives. In a formula it changes how a fresh accord feels, not how it smells, and it contributes nothing to the pyramid.

Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 540 materials carrying no CAS number the 248 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
