Bedoukian describes a powerful, fresh, watery and ozonic effect combined with fruity shades of raspberry and melon and dewy white petal notes of muguet and tuberose. It is their captive BRI 279-SUS, a hydroxy aldehyde, and it behaves like one: the ozonic lift arrives immediately but the material has real body under it rather than evaporating off the top. In a formula it is the wet-petal join between an aquatic accord and a white floral, giving muguet and tuberose the dew they usually need hydroxycitronellal for, and adding a raspberry-melon roundness that keeps a marine note from reading metallic. The house works it at a substantial level in the concentrate, so it is a structural note here, not a trace effect.
