Curry-and-fenugreek herbaceousness from the italidione diketones, lifted by a fruity-tea neryl acetate sweetness and closing dry, honeyed and faintly woody. Distinct from the immortelle absolute, which is a much heavier maple-syrup and tobacco material: the oil is greener, more bitter-herbal and usable where the absolute would dominate.
