What does Coolact 38D smell like?

Minty, herbal and eucalyptus-like, soft and slight rather than sharp: TGSC types it minty-herbal-eucalyptus, and Takasago describes a slightly minty material giving a fresh cooling sensation. The molecule occurs in lemon eucalyptus leaf. Its cooling profile is close to menthol but far more stable and much longer on skin, and it doubles as an insect repellent and a skin-penetration enhancer. Chosen over menthol when the cold effect has to survive a harsh base, and over the odourless coolants when a little green-minty character in the smell is welcome.

Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 558 materials carrying no CAS number the 257 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
